About us
Frenchies Are Our Family
A Montreal family with over 20 years with the breed.
Our story
Health First, From Pregnancy to the Day They Go Home
We have shared our home with French Bulldogs for over 20 years. Our dogs are family members first. Every puppy is raised with the same care: health from pregnancy through rehoming, and plenty of socialization so they arrive confident and ready for family life.
We stay available 24/7 for the families of our puppies, long after they go home.
Puppy Culture
How We Raise Our Puppies
We follow the Puppy Culture program, week by week, during the most important period of a puppy's development, from about 3 to 12 weeks.
- Day 2 onward
Early neurological stimulation
Five gentle exercises, 3 to 5 seconds each, once a day, to build stress tolerance and resilience.
- Week 3
A richer world
An enriched environment, first visitors, startle recovery, early separation work and the start of potty training.
- Week 4
The weaning pen
A larger space, emotional resilience exercises and problem-solving games.
- Week 5
Manners and communication
Puppies learn polite ways to ask for attention. We guide them gently through their first fear period.
- Week 6
Curiosity
People of all ages, new objects, different footing, heights and sounds. Car training begins with the engine off.
- Week 7
Preventing problems
Gentle work to prevent resource guarding around food, bowls and toys, and the first puppy party.
- Week 8
Ready for the world
Short car rides, a second puppy party, body handling, nail trims and grooming.
About the Breed
Small, sturdy and full of personality. One of the best companion dogs in the world.
A true companion
Loving and devoted. Frenchies need people and are not made for outdoor living or long days alone.
Easygoing
Playful, but just as happy on the sofa. Two 15-minute walks a day keep them fit.
City friendly
Perfect for apartments and condos, and not a big barker.
Smart, a little stubborn
Free thinkers who learn best when training feels like a game.
Great with family
Gets along with children and other dogs, with early socialization.
Sensitive to heat
Their flat faces make cooling hard. Keep them in air conditioning on hot days.
